David vs. Goliath: ASARCO Strikers need your support

It's a modern-day David vs. Goliath: 2,000 of our siblings have been out on an unfair labor practice strike against ASARCO, LLC, a Grupo Mexico subsidiary, for more than three months now. It’s a tough fight, but we’re willing to stand up for what’s right for as long as it takes. This video explains what we’re up against – can you please watch and share to let us know you have our backs?

Members of our union, the USW, are among the seven international unions who have been holding the line since Oct. 13, when we rejected the company’s so-called “last, best and final” offer.

The ULP strike against ASARCO is hurting our families and our communities. We want to bargain in good faith for a fair contract to resolve the labor dispute so that we can return to our jobs and resume production. Knowing you support us means the world in these tough times, and helps our siblings stick together as we fight for the respect we deserve. Please share this video on your social media pages and help show solidarity!
