Election 2016: Members Speak Out

Wilhelmenia Hardy
Local 1025

Wilhelmenia Hardy, 53, Wilmington, N.C. has been a union member for 19 years and has served as president of USW Local 1025 at Corning for the past 7.

“There is a lot of hate being spread right now. We all see it on TV and at the Trump rallies.

“To say we are going to make American great again, that doesn’t make sense. America is great already.

“It is important that we don’t lose faith. We can’t lose sight of what we stand for. I stand for working people. I stand for unions. I stand for my family. That is a message of unity and respect. And that is a message of working together. And Hillary Clinton is the person to bring us back together and there is a lot of love there in her heart to bring us all back together.”
