On August 19, thousands of USW members mobilized at ArcelorMittal plants across the nation. Local unions held marches, plant gate rallies and informational pickets at their halls and facilities.
At the same time, NextGen activists led a trip to the ArcelorMittal offices in Chicago and AM workers on the Iron Range joined their brothers and sisters from U.S. Steel and Cliffs for a huge rally in the center of town.
Together, we showed that we’re standing strong and united for a fair contract! Now, it’s time to get ready for our next round of actions in Pittsburgh and Burns Harbor on Sept 1. More info here: http://usw.to/action.
