Fighting for Good Jobs

The USW represents more than 850,000 members who work in every facet of the economy whose jobs are dependent on commerce: the flow of goods, services and trade. The results of trade – good and bad – are felt every day by our members, their families and the communities where they live. We want trade policies that create domestic jobs, promote rising wages, and reduce income inequality and our nation’s staggering trade deficit.

We also want to help stop the race to the bottom, pitting workers around the world against each other, by lifting up and protecting all workers, regardless of where they live.
