Our National Oil Bargaining agreement is set to expire on February 1, and we’re getting ready.

Across the country USW locals are conducting Kick Off sessions to improve and strengthen our communication networks.

On September 23-26, delegates from each local union will meet at the National Oil Bargaining Conference to work together to establish our bargaining priorities.

Following the conference, members at each unit will vote to ratify the policy and commit to bargaining together to accomplish our objectives.

We will be successful when we demonstrate to management that we are informed, energized and ready to fight for better working conditions.

In the coming months we will share important information about the process and the issues we’re fighting for as well as ways that you can demonstrate your support and solidarity. Keep an eye out for bargaining updates and text messages, and be ready to participate in local and national solidarity actions.

Together, we can win the contracts that recognize our experience, guarantee our safety, and protect our livelihoods.
