The USW is currently engaging with members of Congress to raise our concerns about the ramifications the proposed USS-Nippon deal will have on our national and economic security. A number of them have already spoken out against the transaction, and we are encouraging others to do the same.
As part of this effort, we sent materials to both the House and the Senate explaining our fight to enforce our Basic Labor Agreements as well as concerns we intend to raise for the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
