Your USW negotiating committee continued meeting both internally and with management throughout this first week of bargaining.
Each local union represented in our negotiations is scheduled to meet face-to-face to discuss plant-specific issues with their management counterparts.
Although the pace has been slow and deliberate, we are still early in the bargaining process, and our committee is committed to work through the issues.
Beginning next week our plan is to start identifying master contract issues that can be addressed by subcommittees.
We will keep everyone informed as we progress through the coming days and weeks.
In the meantime, please be sure to stay focused on working safely.
Remember that we can accomplish anything as long as we stay united.
