USW Proposes Continuation of Bargaining to Resolve Contract at ATI

Our strike against ATI’s serious unfair labor practices began on March 30, 2021, and continues as our picket lines remain well staffed, morale is high and community support is very strong.

Our progress has been hindered at every step by the company dragging its feet throughout this process and violating labor law.

Now is the time for management to commit to resolve the outstanding issues in good faith at the bargaining table—not in the newspaper or on ATI’s misleading corporate website.

That is why we have sent the company another letter proposing to meet at the bargaining table to negotiate a fair tentative agreement and return to work understanding.

We have always believed that the solution to the outstanding issues must be found through the collective bargaining process, and we are willing to prove it.

We sincerely hope management will act responsibly and show our union that it values and respects its workers and bargain in good faith rather than continuing to just talk about it.

Stay strong! Stay united! Our solidarity and determination will prevail!

In unity,

Your USW/ATI Negotiating Committee
