District 11 OSHA 10-Hour Training, Western Missouri and Kansas

We will be conducting a 1-1/2 day OSHA 10-Hour Training for local unions in Western Missouri and Kansas on May 16 and 17, 2019. 

The USW encourages all members to receive hazard awareness training. This training provides participants with an overview of OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as safety and health principles, which will raise the awareness of hazards in the workplace. After completion of the class, members will receive an OSHA 10-hour certification card from the U.S. Department of Labor. 

The details for the training are as follows: 

WHEN:
Thursday, May 16, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (lunch provided) 
Friday, May 17, 9 a.m.-noon 

LOCATION:
USW Local 307L ICD Facility 
1603 NW Taylor Street 
Topeka, KS 66608 

Please be aware that in order to conduct the training, we need a minimum of 15 people to register. In addition, the maximum class size is 30 people. If the number of registrations received exceeds the maximum number allowed, participants will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis.
