District 10 is conducting a Workers’ Compensation Seminar - East at The Woodlands in Wilkes-Barre, PA from Sunday, October 8, 2023 to Thursday, October 12, 2023. Registration is Sunday at 3:00 PM and there will be an Introduction meeting from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Monday through Wednesday classes will be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 PM.

The registration fee is $100 per person. Lunch will be provided. Registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. To register, please make checks payable to “District 10 Education Fund” and send along with the registration form to:

For hotel reservations, please contact The Woodlands Wilkes-Barre at (570) 824-9831 or 1 - (800) 762-2222. Let the hotel know you are with the United Steelworkers to receive the room rate of $125 + 11% taxes & $5.00 Amenity Fee. Parking is free and breakfast is included. Those who commute, breakfast will be $7.50. Hotel check-in is after 4:00 PM on the day of arrival; check-out is 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Overnight guest rooms must be guaranteed by a major credit card or one-night’s deposit.
The deadline for making reservations is Friday, September 8, 2023. The negotiated rates will not be valid past this date.
Registration forms should be received at the District 10 office by Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Each Local Union will be responsible for any lost time, travel, and expenses. We encourage all Local Unions to participate in this seminar.
