The drawing took place at the Local 338 Union Hall where many local union members turned out for the event.  For each dollar pledged, members received one chance to win. Archie's ticket was drawn from a pool of 650 other contestants.

Six winners were also drawn for PAC jackets.  The jackets which are valued at $140 each were presented to Norm Wilford, Tye Bender, Richard Prete, Rock Gabbard, Steve Alexander and Lynn Woods.

Local Union President, Dan Wilson stated, “We've already accepted the challenge for this year and we are issuing that challenge to our members to help us to beat our 2007 mark.” Members who didn't get in on the 2007 drawing will get a chance to sign up in April and May

PAC contributions are voluntary and are only used to support labor friendly candidates and initiatives. PAC is strictly non-partisan.  Each dollar raised will be used to help elect candidates who will stand up for working men and women.
