USW’s Conway Appears on CNN to Discuss Dumping of Steel

United Steelworkers Vice President Tom Conway this week appeared on CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight. The show focused on China’s predatory trade practices and its impact on American industries such as steel pipe.

CNN reported that more than 90 percent of the anti-dumping duties charged to countries that flood the market with subsidized, cheap products go uncollected by the U.S. government. Meanwhile, thousands of jobs are at risk.

“This is a ridiculous way for a government to operate,” Dobbs said during the program. Click here to see more.
