To All US & Canadian Local Union Presidents and Recording Secretaries

We will use this conference to educate, energize and mobilize around the upcoming 2012 elections, and one of our most precious civil and human rights – voting, and will build on our conference theme, POWER OF THE BALLOT!

All Civil and Human Rights Committee members are urged to participate, and there is no limit to the number of delegates a local union can send, nor is attendance restricted in any way.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Participants are urged to pre-register using the online registration form above.

The conference registration fee is $200.00 U.S. or $ 200.00 Canadian. This fee includes one ticket to the Civil & Human Rights Banquet to be held Saturday night. (Additional banquet tickets may be purchased at the conference for $75.00 each.) After registering online, please print and send a copy of your local’s registration form along with a check made payable to “USW Secretary-Treasurer,” that totals the registration fee(s) for each participant and send to the: USW Civil & Human Rights Department, 5 Gateway Center, 9th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. A copy of the completed registration form with the name of each registrant and the total payment due must be included.

Participants will still be able to register once they arrive at the conference; however, the registration fee must be paid by Local Union check or cash. We will not be able to accept credit cards at the conference venue.

HOTEL INFORMATION
A block of rooms has been set aside at The Millennium Hotel Cincinnati at a rate of $110.00 per night, plus applicable taxes and fees.
