- Jobs More Secure with Duties on Chinese-made Tires The United Steelworkers (USW) welcomed today’s final determination by the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) for placing anti-subsidy and anti-dumping duties on pneumatic off-the-road (OTR) tire imports from China.
- Data Shows 2.3 Million Jobs Lost to China since 2001 The increasing U.S. trade deficit with China has cost 2.3 million American jobs between 2001 and 2007, including 366,000 last year alone, according to a study released today by the Economic Policy Institute (EPI).
