Steelworkers Rally against ATI's Demands

This week, the local unions representing about 1,300 Steelworkers at nine ATI facilities held gate rallies to show solidarity against the company's persistent concessionary demands.

ATI expects workers who have gone without a wage increase since 2014 to accept expensive health care changes, expanding management's ability to use contractors for our jobs and other unnecessary concessions.

Instead, Steelworkers at ATI overwhelmingly granted the negotiating committee the authority to implement a strike against unfair labor practices, if necessary, to win the fair contract we have earned and deserve.

The USW shares management's desire to ensure the long term viability for the future of our facilities, but we are not giving up rights, protections and benefits that our union fought for generations to secure for the benefit of ATI stock price.

Now more than ever, it's time for management to come to the table with a fair contract proposal, and once again, ATI Steelworkers are delivering the message loud and clear.
