Toledo-area residents ready for Women’s March

Several dozen Toledo-area residents will join the thousands expected to participate in Women’s March on Washington on Saturday — the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration. Rebecca Boone, who manages the Toledo Planned Parenthood facility, organized two buses to go to the Women’s March on Washington.

The march has participants hailing from every state and some other countries, and “will send a bold message to our new government on their first day in office, and to the world that women’s rights are human rights,” according to a statement on the event’s website. “We stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us.”
