At the Birthplace of Auto Workers' Sit-Down Strikes, Locked Out for Eight Months and Counting

This article from Labor Notes describes Honeywell's aerospace-workers' situation in Southbend, IN and Green Island, NY as 320 members of UAW Local 9  voted 270-30 to reject the company’s offer. 40 Honeywell workers with Local 1508 have twice voted no on Honeywell's proposals to eliminate cost-of-living increases and retiree health care, freeze pensions, curtail overtime pay, subcontract work, and void seniority rights.
