In a show of solidarity, Steelworker members came together in Lockport, New York to stand with ATI members for a fair contract. USW Locals 9536, 9436, and 135L, as well as UAW members and local fire fighters marched outside the ATI office for over an hour. With approximately 2,500 union members spread out among 11 ATI plants in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Oregon and Ohio, Thursday was a day to demonstrate union solidarity with our Brothers and Sisters at ATI whose contract expires next week.

This year for the holidays, instead of doing their annual toy drive for the children’s hospital, the Women of Steel from United Steelworkers Local 750 decided to adopt a battered women’s shelter in their community.

While many of us were lying warm in our beds or opening presents with families and friends, members of United Steelworkers Local 7150 members and families were on the line supporting their union and working families.
The members of United Steelworkers Local 13-522 at PBF in Chalmette, Louisiana collected over $5000 this Christmas to help local families in their community. Donations were collected and gifts delivered to over 30 children and families.
