District 11 delegates enjoyed 3 days of speakers, panels and workshops at the Rapid Response Conference held in Washington D.C. from April 13-15. They shared personal stories about how their lives have been impacted by trade and talked about the legislative battles that lie ahead. On Lobby Day, conference attendees rallied to let legislators know that they were against the shady trade legislation and they needed to “Stop Fast Track!”

This year for the holidays, instead of doing their annual toy drive for the children’s hospital, the Women of Steel from United Steelworkers Local 750 decided to adopt a battered women’s shelter in their community.
Today the USW and ATI met with a federal mediator in an attempt to find a solution to the current lock out
While many of us were lying warm in our beds or opening presents with families and friends, members of United Steelworkers Local 7150 members and families were on the line supporting their union and working families.
The members of United Steelworkers Local 13-522 at PBF in Chalmette, Louisiana collected over $5000 this Christmas to help local families in their community. Donations were collected and gifts delivered to over 30 children and families.
