Progressive talk show host Leslie Marshall recently spoke with United Steelworkers (USW) Political Director Tim Waters about what a post-Citizens United ground game would be and what could be done to help the President and Democrats.

The Supreme Court ruling on Citizens United which allowed millions of dollars to be used during the election campaign corrupted the national poltical process.

They discussed the issue of unions and how the Republicans tried to blame unions for all the country's economic woes.

"They didn't run (in 2010) on trying to decimate labor unions. When they got in there and people saw what they were doing, they got buyers remorse." said Waters. "Once the American electorate began to see what these folks were all about, they didn't want any part of it."
