United Steelworkers International President Leo W. Gerard spoke with progressive talk show host Leslie Marshall about the arrogance of Republican Presidential nominee, Mitt Romney and his lack of transparency to submit his tax return information to Americans.

They discussed how Romney submitted 23 years of returns to John McCain in 2008 when McCain, then the GOP presidential nominee, was vetting VP candidates. But now, as he is running for the highest position in the land, he is unwilling to provide the same documentation to the American people

“We want to know,” said Gerard. “What is your commitment to this country?”

They talked about his and his wife’s arrogance when they were interviewed by various media.  The line that came to mind was when Ann Romney said, “We have given all you people need to know …”

“He’s the Godfather,” said Gerard, “if not the grandfather of offshoring and outsourcing.”
