Bad trade policies and the dumping of foreign steel is threatening the survival of the American steel industry and related jobs in our communities. So far this year, more than 9,000 workers have been or are soon to be laid off. The USW asked those affected to tell us how the layoff will affect them, or what would they want to tell their elected representatives. Below are some of their responses.
